Sauce: Garlic White Sauce (for pizza or pasta)
Use for my Roasted Garlic White Chicken Pizza or on pasta of your choice for a side dish.

Ingredients
Roast Garlic
- 8 cloves (1 bulb) fresh garlic, roasted and minced
- drizzle of olive oil
Sauce
- 1 Tbls. butter
- 2 Tbls. unbleached all-purpose white flour
- 1/2 t. black pepper
- 1/2 c. low-fat milk (1% or skim)
- 1/4 c. half and half
- 1/4 c. parmesan cheese, finely grated
Instructions
How to Roast Garlic: cut off top of garlic bulb. Lay bulb on a piece of foil and drizzle with a little olive oil. Wrap foil around the bulb and place on a baking pan. Roast for 30-40 minutes at 400 degrees. Bulb and cloves should be soft. Remove from oven, open foil and remove garlic from each clove. The skins should come off easily. Then mash or mince the cloves and set aside.
Garlic White Sauce
Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add roasted garlic and saute for 1 minute.
Add flour and pepper; whisk until well blended. Cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in the milk and half and half. Cook for about 3 minutes or until it starts to thicken.
Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese.
NOTE: You can freeze this sauce for future use, but make sure it has fully cooled before freezing.
