Tuna: Sesame Soy Ahi Tuna Steaks
Pairs well with my Edamame recipe

Ingredients
- 4 (5 oz.) Ahi tuna steaks – Orka Bay brand from Woodman’s
- 1 Tbls. canola or olive oil
- 1/4 c. reduced sodium Kikkoman soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- 1 t. fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 t. sesame oil
Instructions
Rinse steaks and pat dry with paper towel.
Whisk together soy sauce, garlic, lime juice, ginger and sesame oil. Place tuna in a glass baking dish, pour marinade over top, let marinate at room temp for 30 minutes or cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Heat oil in a skillet, oil a grill pan or oil grill grates.
Remove tuna from marinate and pat dry. Fry or grill tuna steaks, turning only once. Cook about 5 minutes or until your desired doneness.
NOTE: Also good served with oriental coleslaw or rice with soy sauce
