Toffee In-A-Flash
Ingredients
- 35 saltine crackers (1 row)
- 1 c. butter, cut up
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1-1/2 c. semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Instructions
Place crackers on the bottom of a 15 x 10" baking pan.
Microwave at 100% the butter and brown sugar for 2-3 minutes. Then stir for 1-2 minutes or until well blended. Spread evenly over crackers.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
Take pan out of the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on crackers. Return to oven for about 30 seconds. Remove pan from oven and spread chocolate. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
Cool 20 minutes then 1 hour in refrigerator. Break up into large chunks.
NOTE: Store in refrigerator or can be frozen.
