Toasted Almond Parmesan Dip
Ingredients
- 6 oz. cream cheese
- 4 Tbls. mascarpone cheese
- 1 c. freshly grated parmesan cheese
- ¾ c. sliced almonds, toasted (divided)
- ¼ t. black pepper
- 1/8 t. nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- crackers or pita chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, mascarpone, salt, pepper, nutmeg, parmesan and 1/2 cup almonds. Mix with a spoon to combine, then press into a greased shallow baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining almonds.
Serve with crackers and pita chips.
NOTE: Makes 1-1/2 cups
