Steak Marinade (The Best)

Great flavor. Can also use for Pork or Chicken.
For 2 lbs. of meat, use the measurements in parenthesis

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (2 lbs.) of your favorite steak (tenderloin, flank, sirloin etc.)
  • 1/8 c. + 2 t. (1/3 c.) low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ c. (1/2 c.) olive oil
  • 1/8 c. + 2 t. (1/3 c.) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 c. (1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2-1/4 t. (1-1/2 Tbls.) garlic powder
  • 1 Tbls. + 1-1/2 t. (3 Tbls.) dried basil
  • 2-1/4 t. (1-1/2 Tbls.) dried parsley flakes
  • ½ t. (1 t.) ground white pepper
  • 1/8 t. (1/4 t.) hot pepper sauce, optional
  • 1 small (large) garlic clove, minced, optional

Instructions

Place soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, basil, parsley and pepper in a mini food processor. Add hot pepper sauce and minced garlic if desired. Mix on high for 30 seconds.

Pour marinade over meat.

Cover and refrigerate for up to 8 hours. Drain marinade and cook meat as desired.
