Drink: Fresh Fruit Slush

I like using cran-rasberry with rainbow sherbet.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. can frozen fruit juice concentrate (apple, pineapple, orange, raspberry, etc.)
  • 6 oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1 pint fruit sherbet, softened
  • 1-1/2 c. water
  • Assorted non-alcoholic mixers (club soda, lemon-lime soda, rum, vodka, etc.)
  • Fresh fruit garnishes (berries, orange, lemon or lime slices)

Instructions

Place frozen concentrates in a large freeze container or bowl; Let stand 10 minutes or until thawed slightly. Add sherbet and water; stir well. Cover and freeze until firm.

To serve, let frozen mixture stand at room temperature 10 minutes.

For each serving, scoop about 1/4 c. frozen mixture into a tall glass (use an ice cream scoop). Add mixer and garnish.
