Sirloin: Asian Beef Salad

Ingredients
- 8 c. mixed greens
- small can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 small can or chow mein noodles
- 1 lb. lean trimmed siloin beef steak, uncooked
Dressing
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 c. + 2 Tbls. rice wine vinegar (or rice vinegar)
- 1/4 c. + 2 Tbls. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1-1/2 Tbls. hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbls. peanut oil
Instructions
In a small bowl combine garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, oil and hoisin sauce. Pour half of the dressing into a 1-gallon zip lock bag and add steak. Marinate in refrigerator for 2-4 hours or overnight.
Refrigerate leftover dressing.
Preheat grill and grill steak for 10 minutes on each side for medium, or longer until desired degree of doneness. Remove steak and slice into thin strips.
Meanwhile, heat reserved dressing in a small saucepan or microwave just to warm.
Place 2 c. of greens on 4 individual salad plates. Top each with slices of steak, one-fourth of the oranges, chow mein noodles and drizzle each salad with dressing.
