Raspberry Dessert II

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. (1-1/2 sticks) butter
  • 1-1/2 c. all-purpose unbleached white flour
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) low fat cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 12 oz. container of Truwhip (a healthier version of Cool Whip)
  • 1 pkg. Raspberry Danish Dessert (near Jell-O in grocery store)
  • 4 c. raspberries

Instructions

Mix flour and butter together and pat in the bottom of a 9 x 13" cake pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes; cool.

Beat cream cheese and add powdered sugar. Blend thoroughly. Fold in Truwhip. Spread on cooled crust and refrigerate.

Prepare Danish dessert according to package directions, and let cool. Fold in raspberries and spread on top of cream cheese mixture.

NOTE: This dessert is best when refrigerated overnight.
