Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Bars

Everyone in our family loves these bars!
You can also make with Cheerios instead of Rice Krispies (a bit healthier too).

Ingredients

  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. light colored corn syrup
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 6 c. Rice Krispies cereal (or Cheerios cereal)
  • 6 oz. butterscotch chips
  • 6 oz. dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

In medium sauce pan, mix sugar and syrup; boil. Stir in peanut butter. Take off stove and mix in Rice Krispies. Press into a greased 9 x 13" pan.

In a small sauce pan, melt chips and spread on top of bars.

Cool and cut.
