Overnight Oats: Cherry Almond

These creamy overnight oats are loaded with tangy cherries and crunchy almonds, the perfect combination.
Ingredients
- 2/3 c. rolled oats (not instant)
- 4 t. chia seeds
- pinch of salt
- 3 t. maple syrup
- 2-4 drops almond extract (to your liking)
- 1-1/4 c. almond milk (regular milk is fine)
- 1 Tbls. sliced almonds
- 1 Tbls. dried cherries (I use from Door County)
Topping
- 2 Tbls. sliced almonds,
- 2 Tbls. dried cherries (I use from Door County)
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine oats, chia seeds, salt maple syrup, almond extract, milk, 1 tablespoon almonds and 1 tablespoon dried cherries.
Transfer to a jar or covered container. Refrigerate overnight.
To serve, top with additional sliced almonds and dried cherries.
