Lemonade

Excellent and refreshing

Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • Rind of 2 lemons, scrubbed and cut into pieces
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 c. fresh lemon juice (4-5 lemons; use the rinds of 2)

Instructions

Mix sugar, 1 cup of water and lemon rinds in a small saucepan. Heat to a boil and simmer until the sugar dissolves (about 5-6 minutes). Cool and strain.

Mix the syrup, 4 cups of water and lemon juice. Refrigerate. To serve, pour over ice and add a lemon slice.
