Hot'n'Hearty Vegetable Soup - Stone Soup

Cooked in a crockpot
Ingredients
- 7 c. of water (approximately)
- 4 beef bouillon cubes or 4 Tbls. Beef soup base
- 1 pkg. of beef stew meat, browned and seasoned, optional
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1/4 head of cabbage (important ingredient!)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1/2 small pkg. frozen beans
- 1/2 small pkg. frozen corn
- Salt and pepper to taste
- garlic salt to taste
- parsley flakes to taste
Instructions
Wash, peel and chop all vegetables. Put vegetables, bouillon cubes, and seasonings in crock-pot.
Add meat if desired.
Add water; stir well and cook on high for about six hours.
