French Dressing
Great on a garden salad, wedge salad or cobb salad.
I also use this in my Shrimp salad recipe for the dressing.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbls. white sugar
- 1/3 c. good quality ketchup
- 1/4 c. light olive oil (milder than extra virgin, which you can use)
- 1/4 c. white vinegar
- 1/4 t. celery seed
- 1/4 t. chili powder
- 1/4 t. dried mustard
- 1/4 t. onion powder
- 1/16 t. paprika
- salt, to taste
Small Batch
- 1 Tbls. + 2 t. white sugar
- 2 Tbls. + 2 t. ketchup
- 2 Tbls. light olive oil (milder than extra virgin, which you can use)
- 2 Tbls. white vinegar
- 1/8 t. celery seed
- 1/8 t. chili powder
- 1/8 t. dried mustard
- 1/8 t. onion powder
- pinch of paprika
- salt, to taste
Instructions
In a food processor, add sugar, ketchup, olive oil, white vinegar, celery seed, chili powder, dried mustard, onion powder, paprika and salt to taste.
Process until smooth.
Store covered in refrigerator for up to 4 days.
