Ranch Dressing
Quick to make, healthier option and delicious on everything.
Ingredients
Full Recipe (will make 1-1/2 cups)
- 3/4 c. buttermilk (see Note)
- 3/4 c. low fat sour cream
- 2 Tbls. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbls. ranch seasoning (see Note)
- juice of half a lemon
- 1/4 t. fine sea salt
- 1/4 t. black pepper
- couple dashes of hot sauce, optional
- 1 Tbls. chopped fresh chives, optional (or 1 t. dried)
Half Recipe (will make 3/4 cup)
- 6 Tbls. buttermilk (see Note)
- 6 Tbls. low fat sour cream
- 1 Tbls. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbls. ranch seasoning
- juice of a quarter of a lemon
- 1/8 t. fine sea salt
- 1/8 t. black pepper
- a dash of hot sauce, optional
- 3 t. chopped fresh chives, optional (or 1/2 t. dried)
Instructions
Mix all ingredient together.
Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
Dressing will keep for about a week in refrigerator.
NOTE: If you don't have buttermilk on hand, you can use whole milk in its place.
