Crescent Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 2 t. water
  • 5 Tbls. white sugar
  • 1/2 t. vanilla
  • 2 c. unbleached all-purpose white flour
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, water and vanilla. By hand, stir in flour and salt. Add chopped pecans and mix well.

Using a portion of dough the size of a small walnut, roll into crescent shapes.

Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. While warm, gently roll in powdered sugar and cool on wire racks lined with paper towel to absorb the grease.
