Cranberry Pear Crisp
Yo can also substitute sliced apples instead of pears.


Ingredients
- 12 oz. pkg. fresh cranberries
- 2 large pears (or tart apples), peeled, cored and sliced
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 3/4 t. ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbls. white flour
- 1/3 c. old fashioned oats
- 2 Tbls. brown sugar
- 5 t. flour
- 2 Tbls. cold butter
- 1/4 c. chopped walnuts
- frozen vanilla yogurt or vanilla ice cream.
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine cranberries and pears. Combine sugars, cinnamon and 1 t. white flour; sprinkle over cranberries and pear mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to an 8-in baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.
In a small bowl, combine oats, brown sugar and 5 t. flour. Cut in butter until crumbly; stir in walnuts. Sprinkle over cranberry mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until topping is golden brown and pears are tender.
Serve warm with frozen yogurt or ice cream.
