Cranberry Orange Clove Biscotti

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4. c. white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 t. orange extract
- 1 t. grated orange zest
- 3 c. unbleached all-purpose white flour
- 2 t. baking powder
- 2 t. ground cloves
- 1 c. dried cranberries
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a large cookie sheet
Melt butter and pour into a large mixing bowl. Add the sugar to the melted butter. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by the orange extract and zest.
By hand, stir in the flour, baking powder and cloves. Mix until dough forms. Add the dried cranberries.
Shape the dough, on the greased cookie sheet, into two 4x8-inch rectangles.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Carefully transfer to a wire rack and let the biscotti cool for 10 minutes.
Transfer to a cutting board and with a serrated break knife, cut into 1/2-inch slices. Return slices to baking sheet cut side down and bake for another 5 minutes on each side.
Cool on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
