Chocolate Chip Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3 c. white sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 Tbls. vanilla extract
- 2-1/4 c. all-purpose unbleached white flour
- 1/2 c. baking cocoa
- 1 t. baking powder
- 6 oz. (1 c.) dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 oz. (1 c.) vanilla-flavored chips
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir into creamed mixture just until blended (do not over mix). Stir in half of the chips and nuts.
Pour into a greased 15" x 10" x 1" baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining chips and nuts.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool.
Makes 3-4 dozen.
