Brownie Trifle

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. fudge brownie mix
  • 3.5 oz. pkg. instant chocolate mousse mix
  • 8 (1.4 oz.) Heath candy cars (or toffee)
  • 12 oz. container of TruWhip (a healthier version of Cool Whip) topping, thawed

Instructions

Prepare brownie mix and bake according to package directions in a 9 x 13” pan. Let cool and crumble. Prepare chocolate mousse mix according to package directions, but do not chill.

Place half of the crumbled brownies in the bottom of a 3-qt. Trifle bowl. Top with half of the mousse, half of the crushed candy bars and half of the whipped topping. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients, ending with the whipped topping. Garnish with chocolate curls if desired. Chill 8 hours.
