Bolgonese Sauce (Slow Cooker)

Makes a lot, so you can freeze some for future meals



Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground sirloin
- 1 lb. Italian sausage (or pkg. of Jenni-O hot or sweet or hot Italian turkey sausages, casings removed)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 (14 oz.) cans diced tomatoes (do not drain)
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 Tbls. sugar
- 2 Tbls. dried oregano
- 1 Tbls. dried basil
- 2 t. dried marjoram
- 1 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- spaghetti, or your favorite pasta (we use whole wheat or Dreamfield’s)
Instructions
Cook meat in large skillet until browned, drain fat.
Transfer meant to 5-quart slow cooker. Stir in all remaining ingredients, mix well.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve over your favorite pasta.
