Asparagus: Grilled with Lemon Zest

The lemon flavor really compliments the asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 lb. asparagus, trimmed
- 1 Tbls. clarified butter, melted or olive oil
- 1/2 t. salt
- pepper, optional
- zest and juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400 degrees).
Line a baking sheet with foil.
Place asparagus on the baking sheet, drizzle with melted butter or coconut oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired.
Transfer asparagus to the grill laying the spears horizontally across the grate and grill until tender, about 4-6 minutes.
Transfer the asparagus to a serving plate. Drizzle lemon juice over the top and sprinkle with the lemon zest just before serving.
