Chickpeas with Cherry Tomatoes & Feta Cheese

Makes a great side dish
Chickpeas offer numerous health benefits due to their high content of fiber, protein, and various vitamins and minerals.
They can aid in blood sugar control, support heart health, promote digestion, and potentially reduce the risk of certain diseases.

Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 1 c. cherry tomatoes, quartered (or grape tomatoes, halved)
- 1-1/2 Tbls. fresh lemon juice
- 3 t. extra virgin olive oil (Bertolli)
- 1 t. dried oregano
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup crumbled Feta cheese
Instructions
Rinse and drain chickpeas.
In a bowl, combine chickpeas with tomatoes, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper and stir to coat.
Just before serving stir in feta cheese.
NOTE: Serve at room temperature
